* New members are charged pro rata at quarterly rates. There is an initial joining fee.

·       POTENTIAL MEMBERS are normally introduced by a proposer and seconder who are members of at least 6 months standing and who will vouch for the character and suitability of the candidate. Members transferring from another ACC location are welcomed without such introduction. Where potential members are new to the area or unfamiliar with any members, a probationary scheme has been incorporated as below.

·       TEMPORARY ASSOCIATE MEMBERS can be considered for membership on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months during which time they can use the Club and then apply to join.

·        SMOKING  -  This Club is now non-smoking in line with legislation. We do have a designated smoking area.

·        DRESS CODE INCLUDING GUESTS – In order to maintain acceptable standards, members and guests are requested to exercise reasonable dress conduct at all times. After 8 pm the following items are considered to be in breach of the Club Dress Code - Trainers, Shorts, Collarless Shirts, T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Jogging Bottoms, Camouflage Trousers, Baseball Caps and Hoods. This applies to all users of the Club immaterial of age.
Any member or guest so attired will be required to leave the Club premises by 8pm.  

·        ADMISSION OF CHILDREN – Well behaved children are permitted until 9pm but not at the bar!  The law prohibits sale or consumption of intoxicating liquor to persons under the age of 18 years.  They are also prohibited from using the gaming machines.

·        SOCIAL EVENTS – Music Nights, Quiz Nights Saturdays & Mid-week, Bingo, Wine Tasting, Horse Racing both in house with our big screen and to Race Meetings, Romford Dogs, Theme Nights with catering, Ladies Luncheons and a Golf Society. See our What’s On page.

·       IMPORTANCE OF SIGNING IN GUESTS – All guests MUST be signed in - this is a legal requirement.  The Club member is responsible for this and ensuring the good conduct of their guests': -adhering to our dress code and 4 visits maximum per calendar month. Guests over the age of 18 who have been correctly signed in are allowed to buy alcoholic drinks.
